Buzzer ON or OFF Use to turn the electronic beep sound ON or OFF. The sound

can indicate an error, when fewer than 20 cards remain in the

card hopper, or to confirm a menu selection.

Power Saving OFF or up to 60 minutes The printer enters power save mode after a specified period

of inactivity. Choose from OFF or select from 5 to 60 minutes

in 5 minute increments. “Sleeping” appears on the LCD

display. To cancel power save mode, press RESET and then

the ENTER key.

Bend Remedy Temp Level Choose from -5 (lower) to 0 (higher) or OFF to set the bend

remedy roller temperature. See “Bend remedy” on page 44

for more information.

Speed Choose from -2 (slower) to +2 (faster) to set the bend remedy

speed. See “Bend remedy” on page 44 for more information.

Cooling time Set the cooling time from 0 (None) to 15 seconds.

Card Size Standard Set Standard for .030 inch (0.76mm) thick cards or Thin for

.010 inch (0.25mm) thick cards.

• None for no antenna.

• EXT.Unit when a smart card antenna is used.

Select from three positions to stop the card in:

• None for no contact.

• Built-in when the built-in contacts are used.

• EXT. Unit when an external smart card option is used.

Test Print OK? Press the ENTER key to print the default test pattern. The test

print can be used with or without a host PC.

Unit No Set the number of printers

Choose from 1 to 7. Press the ENTER key after selection is

made and then the EXIT key. “Please, power off” is displayed

on the LCD panel. Power unit off and then back on.

Transport Mode Set the transport mode The transport mode must be set when moving or shipping

your printer. Press the ENTER key to use the transport mode.

“Please, power off” is displayed on the LCD panel. The

transport mode is cancelled when the printer is powered back

on.
